Gabriel Obertan, the French winger has been linked with a move to Rangers but the agent of Manchester United winger Gabriel Obertan has cooled talk of a move to Rangers.

Obertan has been linked with a loan move to Ibrox.

His agent, Karim Djaziri, told Scotland's Evening Times: "Gabriel Obertan is going to stay with Manchester United next season.

"We spoke at length with the manager and the club at the end of last season and there wasn’t any intention of him being loaned out to another club.

"There were discussions he could play for Rangers, who are one of the best europa league bets, but it didn't come to anything."
