PARDEW BACKS OBERTAN

Newcastle manager Alan Pardew has said that the fans should have more faith in winger Gabriel Obertan.

Gabriel Obertan was subjected to abuse during the recent match between Swansea after Newcastle failed to break down the newly promoted club. Gabriel Obertan was the target for the fans after the apparent failure from the team.

Newcastle United have been an extremely poor run of form since their first defeat of the season at the hands of Chelsea a few weeks ago. The injuries have certainly not helped their case, but Alan Pardew has said that fans should have more faith in the winger, who has delivered in the past.

Newcastle United were clearly poor in defence after suffering a number of injuries to key players, while they could also not break down of Swansea team. The match ended in a 0-0 draw, but Alan Pardew has said that he is more than satisfied with the performance. Gabriel Obertan has not been part of the Newcastle United side since the 3-1 victory over Stoke city a few weeks ago, the game which transformed Newcastle United’s Premier league betting odds.

He has been out with an injury, but has returned to the team only recently. Perhaps, Gabriel Obertan’s best performance in a Newcastle United shirt came in the match against Stoke city and Alan Pardew is hoping that he will soon return to his best, possibly in time for fans to feel confident with a bet on Newcastle against Fulham.

“Our fans need to be patient with him as I and the staff need to be at times because we know what he can do. I don’t think he has been as good as he was before he came out of the side with an injury. He hasn’t come back as good,” Pardew said.

Alan Pardew has said that he is more than willing to dip into the transfer window in order to strengthen his squad.
