Shinji Kagawa might make his way back to the German top tier. Borussia Dortmund, a club which he has been a part of in the past, is interested in having his services again and the Japan international is understood to be willing to return there.
As per the reports coming through, Kagawa wants to have a chat with the higher officials of his current club Manchester United and on the basis of what unfolds in that meeting; he would make any call regarding his future destination.
Kagawa had cost Manchester United about 15 million Pounds a couple of years back and despite the fact that the career of the midfielder has started to deteriorate a little bit of late, the Red Devils would not want to let him go at an amount significantly lesser than that.
Kagawa has been a league Champion once during his brief stay at Old Trafford so far, but, a lot of people would admit that he hasn’t felt at home in England.
It’s not that he has been made to sit on the bench regularly by the Red Devils. No, that’s not the case. He has made league appearances, not regularly, but, he has never been away from action for too long. In his debut season, he played 20 league matches, while, in the next one, he played 18. But, he hasn’t struck too many times. He has just 6 league goals under his belt till now.
However, the Dutchman Louis Van Gaal, the man who will take charge at United in a few days’ time, is believed to be a fan of Kagawa and he would definitely not like one of his favourite players to take a transfer in his very first season in charge.
