PSG LOOKING TO BRING MOURINHO IN THE SUMMER

PSG are looking to appoint former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho as their next manager in the summer according to reports. It is understood that the French club are looking the Portuguese to take the team to the next level in the Champions League.

Jose Mourinho has been out of management for the past three months after he was sacked as the manager of Manchester United in November. The Portuguese tactician had endured a torrid time at Old Trafford. Public feuds with star player Paul Pogba and the Board over transfers had seen Manchester United stumble in the league.

The former Porto coach had been touted by the media for a sensational return to Spain with former club Real Madrid. However, he was overlooked by the Spanish side who re-appointed Zinedine Zidane as manager 10 months after he resigned.

However, PSG could be his next destination as the French Champions have begun an inquest into the team’s failure in the Champions League. It is understood that the club could see an overhaul in some departments. Current coach Thomas Tuchel could be on his way out after one season as the Qatari owners seek a manager that can get the team to win the Champions League title.

Tuchel has been decent for the club in his season in charge as he has re-invented Neymar into a central role as a playmaker and solidified their domination in the League. However, the Champions League defeat to Manchester United could prove to be the point where he lost the job.

Mourinho is a Volatile character and could be what the dressing room needs to overcome their mental problems in the Champions League. Despite his recent managerial record, he remains one of the best in the business of winning trophies.
