WILL CABAYE STAY?

The transfer window is reaching its final stages and clubs from all spots of the Premier League are trying to secure some players before the deadline arrives and Newcastle United also have a list of rumors involving targets that might be arriving into the club while others are likely to depart.

Yohan Cabaye is a high profile target of PSG who are believed to be preparing a €21 million offer in order to secure the services of the French midfielder. Cabaye is a key player for Alan Pardew and Newcastle United but the coach already stated that everybody is available if the price is right.

“All the transfer windows as manager of Newcastle are nervy and I will be nervous until it closes. Everybody is for sale at some price.” Pardew said when he was asked about the possibility of selling some of his players.

If Pardew indeed decides to offload Cabaye, the Montpellier player Remy Cabella is the immediate replacement. The agent of Cabella confirmed some days ago that his client will be arriving at St. James Park in this month.

Cabella’s father and agent said, “Yes we are negotiating for Remy and yes he will join Newcastle this winter.”

Papiss Cisse of Newcastle United was being linked with a move to Al-Rayyan but the Qatari side could not agree to pay the asking price of €10 million and even though the switch was appearing to be done, the terms ultimately could not be agreed which concluded in Cisse staying with Newcastle United for the time being.

The Vitesse defender Kelvin Leerdam is another target on the radar of Newcastle United with his capabilities of being able to play anywhere on the defense of the squad, he can be a player that can solve some of the problems that Newcastle United has been experiencing this season.
